* Poetry for Beginners is recommended for students in Years 8-11 who wish to join Shakespeare Academy in 2019. Year 7 students will start 2019 with the Poetry for Beginners course.

** The Book Club is an excellent opportunity for students to engage with what they have read, and share their opinions in a pseudo-academic environment. Students who attended the first Book Club session in July 2018 are invited to attend any 2019 session for free (excluding the price of the book if you wish to purchase your own copy). Students who wish to start in January will be charged a membership fee for the rest of 2019.

Welcome to Shakespeare Academy’s Term 4 2018 Competition, where you can win your own personalised Muji pencil case!

To enter the competition, please do the following:

  1. Complete this crossword puzzle
  2. Send a photo or screenshot of your completed crossword puzzle to comp@shakespeareacademy.com.au
  3. The first person to complete the crossword from the following student groups will win the prize

The student groups are:

  • Years 5-6
  • Years 7-9
  • Years 10-12

Winners will be able to submit their ideas and collaborate with SA’s graphic designer to create their personalised pencil case. You must be currently enrolled in Shakespeare Academy to be eligible for the prize. Have fun, and good luck!

Term 4, 2018

Early enrolments for Term 4 close on 28 September, and benefit from a discount where the nominal administration fee is not charged. Normal enrolments for Term 4 are open until 21 October.

Term 4 will run from Monday 15 October to Sunday 16 December. Since Week 10 itself is close to the Christmas holidays and our courses are designed for 20 hours per term, we are combining the last three classes into two weeks at 3 hours each.

We are nearing capacity for Term 4, so if you wish to join Shakespeare Academy, please contact us immediately.

Please be advised that we will be closed during this upcoming school holidays (1-12 October). You may contact us via text message or WeChat, but it may take a day or two before we get back to you.

July School Holiday Workshops (Winter 2018)

We have a tentative schedule for the July school holiday workshops during the first week of the public school holidays. These courses will be held in both our Chatswood and City locations.

This school holiday, we are pleased to introduce the Shakespeare Academy Book Club, where students a given a novel to read before discussing it with their peers. This is a fun and interactive way for students to engage with reading, and to learn how to articulate and share their thoughts in an pseudo-academic environment.
